A few things I’ve been loving and living in this month:
New iPhone case: If there’s one thing about me it’s that I will never (ever) spend good money on a phone case. Since nothing ever fits next generation Apple products, it pains me to know that I’ll need to toss it eventually. I discovered this case for just $12.99 and let’s be honest, I had very low to no hopes about it. It was purely a test—market research if you will. Needless to say I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by the quality and can’t stop raving about it. Your fingers perfectly nestle between the scalloped/wavy sides (read: good for selfies). I’m very into the hand feel of products and this case feels substantial especially for the cost. I’ve dropped it a few times—slash have had an 8 month old throw it—and both the case and my phone have held up impeccably. And with that, let’s sit back and watch them both break tomorrow.
Max Shirt: Just love an oversized button up and having attended Sezane’s recent event in Dallas was gifted a credit to shop online, so used it to scoop up another closet staple. I loved the colors and stripes on this particular style—felt perfect for fall. I took my regular size but I’d even size up another size or two and use as a cover up for vacations.
New Necklace: This was a bday gift for my 40th and it just adds the perfect bit of interest to any outfit. I’ve loved wearing it with casual dresses and t-shirts—it’s great for quite literally any occasion, and of course dressy events, but what I love most is that it really makes the everyday, ordinary moments feel special. We originally ordered the 16″ but it was… tight. Like a chocker. Ended up exchanging for the 18″ and it was delivered in a matter of days which was so impressive. I love the loser, more relaxed fit much better and also how it layers with my other everyday necklace. I feel like I saw someone on Instagram (hopefully I’m not making things up) talking about how they used an extender for their Dorsey necklace, so that could be something worth exploring if you want it to sit even lower on the neck.
Scalloped Tortoise Hair Clip Set: I originally bought a set of 3 of these clips probably 4+ years ago. My last one broke recently and I was… frantic, to say the least. My hair is so thick and finding a claw clip that had a deep enough area to hold all of my hair back was so much more challenging than I would have thought. I discovered that Anthro still carried them, and in a bunch of new colorways which was exciting, so I stocked up just to be safe. Also, I just love having back stock of the things I love.
Lanshin Hot Stone Massager: The power of Instagram ads. I lost count of how many times I was served an add for this hot stone massager and the more I saw it, the more intrigued I became. Next thing I knew I was watching the Brooklyn-based brand’s Youtube channel with their founder teaching people how to use all of the tools and was immediately sold. The design of the tool itself is really quite impressive—it fits in the palm of your hand like a glove and the quality is solid. You remove the cap and fill the vessel with hot/boiling water then place the cap back on. The base is porcelain so it heats and retains heat (FIR—Far Infrared Heat Energy) for nearly 30 minutes and glides over skin like butter. My neck, shoulders, and jaw are always so, so tight and I audibly gasped the first time I used this. Wow, wow, wow. Felt like 10k little fingers massaging my neck lol. I also bought their Pro Gua Sha tool which is also next level. Clearly having a self care moment. If you have a chance, check out their Youtube channel for some great tutorials on how to use all of their tools.
Here for all of this. Promptly looking into this phone case and exploring that massager. Basically, anything you like, I’m immediately interested in. ♥️
